As most of you may know, South Korea has a rainy season every year. We are currently right in the middle of the season and are getting boat loads of rain!
When it rains hard, we can get 3-4 inches of rain in one afternoon (according to the internet that is, it's not like I go measure it myself or anything)! The pictures that I took of Gabriel playing in the rain was on one of our rainy days, though at the time of the pictures it actually wasn't raining as hard as it normally does.
Because our school is nestled up to mountain we get all the water running down the mountain too. Through the middle of school we get little rivers flowing along and down our roads... this one actually isn't too bad, it hadn't been raining for very long when I took these pictures...
They have also had to put sand bags up all around the school to try and direct the water away from the buildings. Korean craftsmen ship is not exactly up to par and the ground underneath many of the buildings is starting to wash out!

We've also started to have much of the mountain wash down with the rain so with the hills that are closest to the buildings they have put huge rolls of plastic over them to help prevent them from land-sliding and/or washing away into the buildings or into the center of the school!
We're hoping that the rainy season ends soon! I'm rather sick of having my laundry trying to dry inside and never actually drying!
